Female Founded

WEIGHTLESS was born from a personal experience. Founder Hollie Mershon, from Malvern, PA, found comfort in a hoodie she created for herself during a difficult season.

After a career as a professional basketball player and two ACL tears, Hollie decided it was time to retire. What followed was a struggle with identity and purpose as she grieved the version of herself she had known for more than 20 years: the athlete.

She turned that heavy season into something with purpose: WEIGHTLESS.

WEIGHTLESS was created around a simple idea: when navigating mental health or life’s challenges, we all want to feel a little lighter. Through thoughtfully designed products and a mission-driven brand, WEIGHTLESS aims to remind people that feeling lighter is always possible and within reach.

Mission Driven

That mission is rooted in Hollie’s own journey and her connection to The Quell Foundation, which has been a meaningful part of her life for the past four years. Quell provided Hollie with a space where she felt comfortable speaking openly about mental health and the challenges she was navigating.

Hollie has also helped produce two documentaries with the foundation, one focused on mental health among athletes and another on Morgan’s Message. These experiences reinforced her belief in the importance of creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and comfortable talking about what they are going through.

Giving back was therefore an important part of building WEIGHTLESS. A portion of WEIGHTLESS profits is donated to The Quell Foundation, an organization that remains very near and dear to Hollie’s heart.

Elevated Comfort

At the heart of WEIGHTLESS is comfort. Every piece is thoughtfully designed to provide a feeling of physical comfort while serving as a tangible reminder that life can feel lighter.

As the collection continues to evolve, WEIGHTLESS specializes in elevated, heavy double-knit pieces designed to feel like a warm, comforting hug. Each piece is made with the intention of helping you feel comfortable, grounded, and a little more at ease, wherever life takes you.
